How long before I can actually search the forums?

This is getting nuts, it's been at least a week since the search abilities went down in flames.
Are there any plans on allowing searches again?

Exactly. I am sick of the error message and not being able to search the forums. Absolutely fed up.

i think its a little tiring reading people constantly complain about it when there are many many threads dedicated towards the same purpose.

I was waiting to see how long it would take for someone to suggest searching the boards to see why I can't search the boards.

you dont have to "search" to find it. you could just click over to the past day or 2 of the lounge. or right below this thread in the suggestions/comments forum. hardly a "search" mr rolleyes.

Or the one from 9/11 stating the database is being rebuilt and searching should be back shortly?
And no, mr smarty, the lounge is for non-mac non-macnn topics, so I did not look there. If I had wanted to look into every freaking forum, there would be no point to a search engine in the first place. Not all of us have all day to sit around and read every message posted, and reply to all of them. Some of want to find something out and need to search for the answers.
I would also like to point out that while it is nice of you to criticize people, why don't you actually attempt to provide some usefull information?? Like when will searching ever work? When?
