sounds good to me. fill the forum up with all the things that are asked constantly, have them as sticky threads, declare it a No-Flame Zone™

I should have phrased it, "How about a forum for people new to Macintosh".......

......but with the return of the search feature I guess I'll be able to avoid getting in the way too much.

Often simple newbie questions can be answered by searching through the forums and archives; if you can't find your answer, feel free to ask in the appropriate forum. People are pretty accepting of newbies here overall; I see the same questions being asked over and over again in the Mac OS X forum and I haven't seen anyone get flamed or yelled at recently.
