Since the vbulletin upgrade, I can't log in using older netscapes (4.78) etc. I log in, click thru to another thread, or try to reply, and it forgets who I am. Yes I've got cookies enabled.

This is on two different macs.

Also, same thing happens on my husband's PC running netscape 6.0.

Same here. I thought I was banned or something yesterday. The computers on campus only use Netscape. It's awful. I don't know what version is on those macs (they are all 15" iMacs on campus) but it sure doesn't work with MacNN

Just so you know, the campus computers DO have IE on there. You just gotta hunt for it.

cprogram files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe

I set a shortcut in my home dir when I was on a campus system since nutscrape4 sucks.

besides which, I've shown that it doesn't work on PCs too... even using new netscape.

I would give in and use IE at home, but it's flaky and crashes a lot there.

I guess I go download omniweb? :/

use mozilla or chimera, too. mozilla is netscape without the bloat and crappiness. they both work for login on these boards.

I come back to you now, at the turn of the tide.
