on another vBulletin board i hit, the icons down the left hand side are different for threads you've actually posted in. they still all have the visited/new posts/etc colours, but they have a dot thing on them too. just makes it easier to see which threads you've posted in, straight away.
that's a fairly standard, unhacked vB. any chance of that happening? i can show you, if need be

yeah, this is a built in option. i just haven't turned it on and made a spiffy graphic for it. i'll look into it tomorrow.

i did look into this yesterday and didn't find the dot graphic in what i assumed would be it's default location.
maybe i'll just redo all those document icons while i'm at it (i seem to remember someone posting revised paper icons, but i can't find them right now).
