Can we start a new forum for OS X themes? The OS X General forum is littered with them, most of them saying the same thing: "My theme is out. What do you think?"
I think that this can be summed up in one forum.

If you think OS X general is oversaturated with Themes, what about OS X third party?? I have pretty much given up on it because of the constant theme blabbering. Why can't we just give them their own forum and get rid of them that way?

For the love of God, please, please, please make a forum for themes. I can't find anything in OS X third party software any more(!!)
Or change the Third party software forum name to OS X theme, or hey I just made a crappy theme. </grrr>
This is a rather silly situation IMO.

I agree. There really should be a customization forum. Remember, these are Macs we are talking about here.

Thank god that people agree with me on this. I thought I'd get flamed in a big way for suggesting such a thing.
Themes discussions are taking over the OS X discussions. PLEASE MAKE THEM THEIR OWN FORUM!!!!!

Not meaning to rain on anyone's parade here, but I just wanted to note two things:
1) While it seems like there is overwhelming support for this idea, remember that mostly people who want this will reply, people who disagree will simply ignore it, therefore giving biased results.
2) While I actually agree with this idea in theory, I still believe that a theming forum could become like the 'peripherals' forum. It has it's place, we don't want these topics cluttering up other forums. The problem is that it can become a dead forum *very* quickly, and people will be more inclined to post theme topics in the lounge or OS X gen to reach more people, not good.

Good point, I never thought of it that way.

True, it could become a dead forum, but since the mods seem very up on putting threads in the correct fora lately, I don't think that would happen.
There are enough posts about themes in OS X General and Third-Party Software to create their own forum.
If we're looking at "dead" fora, take a look at Art & Graphic Design. While it is a very useful fora, and has much information that is needed in the Mac Community, there are fewer posts in it compared with, say, Mac Modification, which has nowhere else to go. Art&Design could go in Third Party Software, but it warrants its own forum. I believe that Themes has reached it's own critical level, where it could make it's own happy forum that would thrive on its own.

while I am not much for seeing themeing getting it's own forum but your right, thememing HAS taken over Third Party Software and is abundent in OS X Gen.

Okay, I'll do a poll, and then we'll talk about making a new forum. Looks like it might be necessary after all...I had noticed it, to be honest, but I haven't been around as much in the last few weeks.
