When you quote-reply to a post and the next one quote-replies to that, does both quotes appear ?

Ugh, bad memories:
Day 1 of nested quotes: "yaaay, woo check this out! What a great feature, we can see what everyone is really replying to!"
Day 2: Hmm, I seem to be spending a lot longer reading each thread, as each reply has a larger nested quote.
Day 3: Dammit, every time I reply I seem to be manually cutting out the nested quotes, grr!!
Day 4: Turn off the god damn freaking nested quotes! 
Ahhh, may they rest in peace

GOD FORBID the day a forum has a Zimphool Quote-o-matic™ button, which quotes every friggin' sentence, and "inserts a handy gap for those 'silly' retorts" which just make people want to kill!

Well, considering that there are some long-time posters who still top post, and others who insist on quoting a gigantic post to add "Yeah, me too" at the bottom, I think that the uber-nesting is one less problem to deal with.

Well said! Quoting is something that needs to be learned. As long as a large group of people on this forum can't get it right, we shouldn't even think about nested quotes.
