Slow loads

As of the last, oh, four or so days, the forums have been taking FOREVER to load. I don't get any database errors, which is good, but it takes just as long to view a post as if the dberrors did exist, which is bad. I'm on a university network, so I know it isn't me.

Once in a while still, mainly just on the lounge, but i can understand that, there are still like 45 sec delays for me after posting (sometimes).

No i'm not the new database server. It will be here next week, although we installed a new caching engine last night which should have made things quite a bit snappier (verified by me and a few other mods). Would love to see some feedback. The server move will probably take place in the next 10 days.
(The server just shipped on Thursday and then we need to install an OS--FreeBSD--and set up some other stuff.)
