Also, change the "Last post by" column to "Last topic posted in".

Put the "Community" section at the top of the forum list
When newbies come here for the first time with questions about their Macs, the first thing we want them to see is the Lounge? Ugh. No thanks.

MacNN is a Mac forum first and foremost.

Used to be like that before they moved to vbb.

What "advanced poll stuff"?

The Last Topic Posted In is better, but unfortunately it's a real pain to hack it in, and we don't really think it's worth it. We've suggested it to Jelsoft and hope it's included in a future version of vB.

As for the Community thing, no for the reasons CaseCom gave.

Umm, if I remember right, when MacNN used UBB, we couldn't even post polls at all! Is that 'advanced'??
