How do you enable this function on the boards? It's listed at the bottom of the boards as a red circle. I would love to have this feature, it would make browsing the forums so much easier.
thanks,

You obviously missed the exciting time on the forums when they added that function for a whole day!
Demon said it taxed the server too much, might be back, might not.

I have a workaround, although it's not perfect. I search for all posts I did, and then check them from there.

Yeah, that's kind of a pain though. It would be really nice if you could see where people could be responding to your posts.

This would be a very cool, time-saving feature. I hope they figure out how to implement it without taxing the servers too much, though.

If you do it the way Slashdot does that seems ideal. Afterall most of the time you don't <i>care</i> what threads you participated in. Slashdot simply has a userpage that lists that last 20 posts you've made, along with their score. If yo click on one of them it takes you directly to your post on that and any messages below. I use it all the time.
This is advantageous as there have been a few times I've asked a question, leave for a few days, and the thread is down a ways. I also sometimes forget what threads I've been participating in.

Well that makes for a crappy board. Things are a lot nicer when you know where you posted, so you can be reminded to check back in and see if someone offered a correction, answered a question or had a follow up question to something you posted.
