I effectively stopped coming to Macnn forums, especially the Lounge, a few months back due to all the really bad Karma flying about...
Every other post in the lounge was about War, Politics and Religion... All opinions and flames, not a nice. For the first time in years, I migrated to another Non Mac board where alot less flaming was happening...
Since the introduction of the 'Politics/War forum, it has all stopped, and to me at least the lounge is rejuvinated...
Any chance it could remain permanently?

I left the lounge after all the flaming and annoying +1 threads. Now that both seem to have stopped, I just recently started going to the lounge again. In short: keep the war forum!

Another vote here to keep the politics/war forum. When I'm in the mood I can pop my head in, but if I'm not, I can just stick to the Lounge Proper. Most excellent.
