I don't mean to be a big baby about this, but it is really starting to get annoying that people don't seem to able to post topics in the correct forums.

This Thread is a perfect example. It should be in the Market Place or the Lounge.

Would it be possible for the mods to be a little more diligent about closing/moving threads that were started in the wrong place? That way people will learn, and the forums will be kept more orderly.

Thanks.

that's what the 'report abuse' button is for. if you see something that doesn't belong there, just hit that and explain that the thread is in the wrong place. the mods try, but they can't be everywhere.
thanks.

this really bugs me, and it seems to be happening far too often, these days.

i'm blaming all the switchers. damned pc users, they've never known how to do things properly

some more moderator action would be handy, though, and much appreciated

It would be nice if the report abuse said something a little different than
This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts.
for people who are reporting a thread in the wrong forum. Also, it seems like clicking report abuse is going to report someone's specific post, but it actually reports just the thread I think.

i've changed the wording.
and 'report abuse' does report the post, not the entire thread.

Ayup,

Anyway of adding in a Report Thread option?

You know for those threads that start off borderline in the Lounge and then quickly descend into mayhem that would be better contained elsewhere (Political Forum).

Cheers

I always try to search for info before posting a question (I.e. I looked to see if there was a way to report threads).

However, it seems I should pay more attention to the date of the thread my search turns up before tagging on the end of it! I hadn't noticed how old it was. Whoops!
