When browsing through the Policitical Forums I noticed that someone named `goatsrfun' has resurrected many articles (more than 10). His name appears as `last posted', but he apparently didn't post anything.

A hack? A joke?

It was an attempt to flood the forum...

The Mods deleted the posts 'en masse', but the 'last post' name seems to have remained...

Actually, I have yet to see anyone complain that they get private messages from the idiot.

It may be a clue onto who is doing it.

Esp the topics the idiot was trying to bump.

Obviously the troll has issues he needs to deal sort out with professional help.

Or stay off message boards when he can't handle other people's opinions.

Yeah, I for one would really like to know who did this... considering that a few people at omgwtfbbq are being blamed.

Zimphire... would you mind forwarding me a copy of said message? I dunno, I might recognise who it is or something (but no, that'd be too easy...)

When a message like that comes from you, it hardly narrows it down to anyone in particular, as you may have annoyed many people on these forums.

Not sure how you'll be able to tell who it is but..

If no one else got a pvt message cept me, it wouldn't be TOO hard to track who did it down.

Ah, I don't know how people are linking it to OMG, other than some of the members are spiteful petty silly people that hate me and MacNN

But I don't see any evidence pointing that way.

You could probably narrow it down to 5 people.

I tell you what though, it take a lot of guts to anonymously hide behind a IP and nick and flood the forum with nonesense.

There was a thread that was moved presumably to the mod's forum soon after the incident that linked a forum thread at omgwtfbbq where a poster talked about what was going to happen here without actually saying he was going to do it. It wouldn't be too hard for people at omgwtfbbq (phil?) to trace his IP.
