If all the posts about cheese and badgers have taught me anything, it's that MacNN needs a third lounge for drunk members and stupid threads.
At the very least, it could be used to build an archive of Sailor Bubba pictures.

No one should have any problem with separate threads dedicated to silliness. However that being said, the silliness should be kept in those threads, and not used to derail others.

I was writing about cheese and badgers to be silly, not to pad my post count. (It's amazing what adrenaline can make you do.)
I would have no problem if the admins chose not to include drunk lounge posts in post counts.

Yeah I don't know what the deal with people lately and padding posts count accusations.
I think we should get rid of all post counts right here and now. It would stop post count padding, AND people complaining about post count padding.
