I remember, a few months ago when old posters lost tons of posts due to archive deletion, the admins said that they'd:

- Find a way to restore the counts, or...
- Start a thread where people could request to have their counts restored manually.

Since none of this ever occurred, I'm just wondering what happened. As a poster who's past his posting-prime, I lost about 1,450 posts from that event and it has bugged me ever since

Yeah, yeah, I know, who cares about post count? Well, while I'll admit it doesn't matter much, why not fix things when they break?
Be happy.

Quite a few of us lost even more posts last week too...

Cipher has again regained his sanity, and quite a few others have been reduced from funky green stars back to plain old yellow.

In reality it all means nothing to me, but thought I'd just let the people 'up stairs' know...

Peace,

Marc

the person assigned to fixing this has been busy with real life (whatever that is) the past few months.
it's nearing the holidays now, and, as we all know, real life gets put on hold. so i'll ask him again.

Please, please, please, I'm sure the admins would also appreciate it if they didn't have to read a thread filled with annoying +1 signs...

only a few people can do this.
and, frankly, it isn't exactly a high priority.
you are not your post counts.
