I'll periodically have the forum pages load with no images inline - smilies, top ad banner, etc. This goes on for hours and it's been happening to me for a long while. Has there been a topic about this before?

I've tried trashing my cookies in Safari, rebooting my computer, and the images seem to come back only when they feel like it (so I've obviously not made the connection with whats going on).

I've never had this happen to me before, I have had the whole forum down though many nights, usually really late, like 3 or later. Also your user name just gave me a high school geometry flashback... like whoa

Yep, there has been at least 2 posts about this before. But no one from Macnn ever acknowledges the problem
This is using Safari. Usually after restarting Safari, all works well again. But this doesnt appear to happen with any other website. Only this one.

i have it too. and the only way to restore it is to restart my browser. but now...i'm not sure if this is my browser's fault or the site's.

Could you bother the fixers again? It's back with a vengeance for the last two days,

I'm a friend of Monish- I'd be happy to fix this problem. If you would like to though- I would go ahead by replacing the cookie source files, see if that helps at all.

If it doesn't, I recommend a db backup via SSH (much faster then PhpMyAdmin) and reinstalling the forums, copying skin files (not hard at all), and importing the DB via SSH once again.

I'm experiencing the same problem. And it's not just because of Safari. I'm using Netscape on a PC right now and I still can't see the images.
