Dear MacNN forum admins,
You have this wonderful forum for user feedback to help you improve these forums. Users come here with bugreports, feature requests, and questions, and what happens? No response from you. Look through the threads here and see that there are rather no than few statements from you about ideas and problems posted here.
I read this forum is moderated by "MacNN staff" what usually means no one cares much or would like to be responsible for anything, but don't you think it would be nice to give some acknowledgement and feedback back to those who post here?

So no response within weeks speaks for itself, doesn't it?
If no one can explain why people should bother posting in this forum then why just don't close it or at least state clearly that the chance of getting a reply is about zero?

MacNN Staff means that no one is specifically assigned. Admins can edit / lock / move / delete threads here because they can in any forum. Mods cannot, since Mods have privileges only in forums they are assigned to. A Global Mod could edit here, but MacNN does not currently have any of those.
Mods and Admins are expected to drop in here periodically, I do on most days. However, most of the problems or ideas posted would have to be handled by either Admins, or coders with access to the vBB files. That is a small group of people.
Speaking for myself, I seldom post on issues that I can do nothing about, that is promising empty air for someone else to take care of. But until one of the Admin types post, here is an exception: - We will 'quickly' take care of all the forum-load-render problems posted. Editing Apache to block all versions of IE should fix all those problems.
- It is a rumor that we have an established rumor policy. Until we figure out what it is, it would be a bad idea for me to comment on a rumor about rumors.
- We're working on the world peace requests. Don't hold your breath, some of the major players have not responded yet.
- I have not seen Safari pegging iCab at 100%, so it doesn't seem too relevant. Has anyone else seen Safari pegging iCab at 100%?
- The above picture no doubt shows a guy waiting for Windows to finish booting up.
- I might know something about the post count restore thing. But I was waiting until I knew more before posting anything. Until then, this post does not exist.
- Were there any other questions? If so, one of the Admin types will be happy to answer them. If anyone wants someone deleted in Team Forum, let me know.
Thank you for your time and patience.
