At 5:49pm Central time I went to reply to a post. I was greeted by said seizure inducing ad asking me if marajuana should be legal. While I think it should be, the flash FLASHING FLASH flash ahhh ad is really horrible. I also got it the same minute I came to this forum to post about it and it was also there when I opened this new post.

Please, MacNN, stop with the seizure inducing ads!

You've done what they say to do here:

http://texturizer.net/firefox/adblock.html

?

*EDIT*

Can't you just "right-click" on the corresponding ad that you don't like and "Block" it from the contexual menu as well?!?

Yes...you are enjoying free entertainment. The only way to avoid siezure inducing ads is to make sure they have enough money to operate.

As soon as they ban those who should be banned and reinstate those who should be reinstated...I might donate money without reserve....but then again, I could care less about the ads.

Hm, this is strange, I emailed someone to look into this and it looks like they haven't been able to get around to it. We don't WANT horribly annoying ads on the site, but due to the setup, sometimes annoying ads enter the rotation until we explicitly remove them. Thanks for your patience; we don't like the seizure ads any more than you do

I have been using Firefox to block ads from this server and that server and whatever server, but for the flash ads the only option I have it to pause them.
