Just recently I have received messages similar to the following when attempting a search on all forums in MacNN.

My search was for: "Apple and monitor and new". All other selections were left as defaults.

and received the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 129 bytes) in /var/www/macnn/macnn/forums/search.php on line 396

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /var/www/macnn/macnn/forums/admin/functions.php on line 2495

It's a known problem... you woulda found it if you'd searched! Oh, right! Never mind!

But no, we do know about it. And they're working on it.
