That's it. Had a zip file. I d/loaded it (yes I know, i took precautions, don't worry) but the file was nothing (of course, duh).

Just one of these damn virus e-mails. It didn't really come from news@macnn.com as the viruses always fake the sender these days. Don't ever open the attachment if you're on a Windows machine (actually, there's not much reason to open the attachment ever).
If I were you, I'd edit your e-mail address out of that post. Spammers might harvest it.

ok that makes sense. i just find it funny that someone from macnn was spammed to me. he.
i run linux and OS X (linux primarily) so i don't fear windows viruses.

I'm guessing you sent an email to news @ macnn recently so it spoofed that.
