I know with the expo being tomorrow, the talk of new products has been alot more then what it usually is. However, I think that there are enough threads about future products to warrent a forum just for them. iSight 2, new iPods, mac tablet, etc. There are just so many that I have seen, I think they all should be in one place.

I'd have to disagree. Future iSight threads can go in Peripherals, upcoming OS X releases in OS X and upcoming iMac discussion in the iMac forum. I don't see the need to consolidate random threads into one forum based on the fact that they they are 'in the future'
IMHO of course.

Not gonna happen. We already have to discourage rumor threads, because if we show, in any way, that we "encourage" rumormongering, Apple will declare us to be a rumor site rather than a news site, and cut us off from Macworld Expo keynotes, etc. Not good to be on Apple's black list.

I think we should have an open forum, that is a forum that is totally umoderated so trolls and others can have flamefests. I mean, besides the Political Longue, which has moderators.

Yeah, if you want rumors, go (in descending order of quality) to Thinksecret or AppleInsider or *shudder* Spymac.

I actually don't know what all we get any more. The only time I went to MW Expo with MacNN was 4 years ago, and they did have press passes, which gave prime access to the keynotes, identified you as press for vendors, gave access to special press lounges, and back-seat access to all the other stuff like conferences and classes.
Being banned from getting press passes would be bad.
