I think it would be great to see an RSS feed of the forums. Maybe the newest 10 threads or something like that. There's plenty of vBulletin implementations for such a feature.
It would be useful, but the forums have such high traffic that you would need to ping the RSS feed every minute for it to be useful (i.e. most recent threads rapidly changing) - which would cripple the bandwidth. Or maybe not
