Took me a few seconds to realise what you were pointing to on that site, thanks to your incredibly descriptive...uh...description.

So when you mouse-over the thread title the pop-up box shows the first post of the thread. Pretty cool, not sure how much I'd use it, I tend to open threads I might be interested in in new tabs and then look through them. I can see it being useful for some of the more cryptic thread titles.

The latest thread might be more helpful as so many threads here get derailed, or the juicy stuff comes later. I've seen the feature on other sites and it doesn't do much for me.

However, I do with mods would be a little more pro-active and edit thread headlines to better give an idea of what the thread is about. And also to merge related threads whenever possible so you don't, for example, have 18 threads on the new iMac going on at the same time.

this has been discussed before.
this has already been activated with the vb3 version of this board. so yeah, just be patient.
