I saw this ad while reading a thread today. I don't have a problem with banner ads but of all places for a MS ad, why here? Good thing I use ad blocking software at home  !

MacNN does not control the ads so they have no say at what turns up here.
You only had to browse the Feedback forum to see some ad complaints...
Who cares if Microsoft wastes some money targeting the wrong audience?
