Can you add a spelling highlighter to the Message Input? Like in Word and Email- just to highlight as you type...

Or is this too annoying for most posters?

In Safari, you can select Check Spelling As You Type. Under Edit.

Another reason I prefer to do my 'NNing from my Mac and not from work.

Firefox will soon have 'check spelling as you type', this feature is currently in the latest Thunderbird builds.
