How about a new feature that locks everyone in a locked thread for a certain period of time, so they can't post anywhere ? A temporary lock-banination. That might make people think what and where they post.
On a second thought, most probably don't care. Long live the replacment nicks...

2. Sounds like a great idea, but we don't have the programming resources to add substantial features to the software.

Of course, what would happen to someone who posts a reasonable answer then the thread falls apart into nonsense, is locked and the person is locked out. Why stay around the site?
