Just did clean install and had to re-log in etc. But seems not get notificaitons. what can I do. thanks.

Enable the feature via "User CP", not by checking at the bottom when creating a new thread. Any better?

Actually it was the fact that the spam blocker corups was reset, and everything was going into junk.
