Napster Ads on MacNN? Why?

Why does Napster advertise on MacNN? When I clicked through, I'm told they're product isn't even supported on my machine. Of course, I wouldn't use it if it *was* supported.
If the ad is a semi-random rotating one, wouldn't Napster be disappointed that their advertising dollar is being completely wasted on a site like MacNN? Wild stuff.

Well, that's just plain rude.  I did a search for Napster in the forum search bar, and I found nothing. Even if there's already a thread about MacNN ads, the issue becomes relevant again when the ads have anti-Apple sentiment, or promote a product that intentionally dismisses the Macintosh community. Napster has clearly set its sights on dethroning Apple and the iTunes music store. And if nothing else, it's ironic that its ads appear on MacNN. Some would say sacrilegious, but I'll settle for ironic.

Did you follow and read the linked thread ?
MacNN has very limited control over the ads. If the ad agancy is dumb enough to put those Napster ads on rotation on a Mac site, ah well...
