Unfortunately, the server admins (which are not the forum admins) don't read the forums, and don't seem to care about the complaints we've been making for years. Sorry.

Could you accidentally let slip some of their e-mail addresses under a throw-away nick?

You don't even know their email addresses ?
Wow, how big is MacNN ? Or how segragated ?

You should have that email that is dispatched on every error go to the server admin and the MacNN owner's personal email address. I'm sure something would be done about it

That message is grammatically incorrect. It should say that an e-mail has been dispatched to our technical staff, whom you can contact if the problem persists.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Well, if you want to be perfectly accurate, it should say, "No e-mail has been dispatched to anybody, because the only people who can do anything about it don't give a damn, and you people were crashing Demonhood's Mail.app."

I'm not even sure where that text string is stored... parts of the admin interface are, um, not too user-friendly...
