Whatever you guys did it was good. I am not getting any database errors or any errors for that matter.

P.S. what are you feeding the new hamster?

A perfect example for crying when s/t is wrong but no word when everything is ok. I would not have mentioned it in the feedback, so for the thread...

That's EXACTLY why I posted it. People seem to think that there are only problems, because problems are usually only what's posted.

It's nice to get good news or a pat on the back every now and then.

Indeed, thanks for the feedback.

I've gotten scattered dropped connections and DB errors, but nothing to write home about. This is the best the forums have run in many, many years.

In addition to fixing the actual problems we were experiencing as a result of that vBulletin upgrade, some changes we made included moving some other databases off the database server to reduce load and also making the forums use MySQL fulltext searching instead of vBulletin built-in search. The latter is a new option in vBulletin 3.5; MySQL fulltext is both significantly faster than the old one and causes much less load on the server. We also applied some patches to PHP and Apache that may have helped with some memory leaks I think we were experiencing.

In any case, thanks for the feedback. It's really nice to hear when things are working well, and we definitely appreciate it.

2nded. I fell in love especially with "in line edit", which is - now that it works flawlessly - a real life saver.

Well, I'm sure the picture (which has been Reported™) is gone, and it's clear AA343 doesn't approve of the new changes.

I however, do.

Edit: what, you can't even say the word ******?

Hm, not quite yet; and nor is the poster, unfortunately. Figures that this would be the one time there are not half a dozen mods ready to pounce on him...

They stopped it in the lounge about 1/2 hour ago, but I think people are suffering from turkey crash.

Yup.

Since it no longer resides at that domain, I don't really see the point in censoring the word.

Now ******* is a different story.

Well, it appears to be t-u-b-g-i-r-l and the same .com.

I dunno what it is, and there's no active site under that URL.

Then you're lucky. You don't want to see that image.

Look up tub---girl (all one word) on Wikipedia for a description. (Thankfully you won't see the image itself).

Ooooh, just another one of them appetizing images the world could do without, then. Hadn't heard of that one before - and judging from the description that seems to be a good thing.

Thanks for clearing that up, though.

It used to be at that URL when I first saw it, just as our goat friend once was at its goat domain.

I probably should have checked to see if it was still there before I posted, but frankly I've seen it enough times already.

So, since those sites don't exist any more, can we have the words uncensored?
