Hey guys,

I'm not sure if this worked, but I've been working 12-hours straight on this. Please let me know if you see ANY anamolies. I will have to restore from the thurs night dump, if this doesnt' work.

In a nutshell, the table crashed and was unrecoverable and took me a while to fix (a long while), but it seemed to have reduced the size of the db drastically and perhaps even performance, timeouts, etc. (I'm guessing? Hoping?).

If you see anything wrong please email directly.

thanks for your patience.

best,
monish

Well, after this morning's brief appearance, we added yet another index to the main post database. That index took more than 4 hours to build. Let's hope i don't have build that again!

thanks,
monish

I saw we drown the hamster and get a bunny instead.

Somehow, that feels like it belongs in the "too good to be true" category. I'd suggest hanging on to that Thursday dump.

So far, all is well. Response speed has been good.

Hey,

As Tooki pointed out the forum post counts are wrong. I will be rebuilding them tonight (Saturday), so the forums will be offline at some point tonight.

Happy holidays!

best,
monish
