I've just installed a minor upgrade (3.5.1 -> 3.5.3) that fixes some security issues and miscellaneous other bugs. A few minor but notable changes:

Skype integration
You may now enter your Skype username, in addition to AIM, ICQ, MSN, and Yahoo. Calls, chats, and more may be initiated through vBulletin. Click here for more info

Natural language search improved
Natural language search (using MySQL's fulltext engine) should now return more relevant results, particularly when searching in a limited number of forums.

Getnew/getdaily now return threads in forums with "Can View Thread Content" set to no
These thread titles will now appear when clicking "New Posts" or getting posts in the last 24 hours.
As always, there may be some funkiness due to the upgrade, and we may have to change around some templates to keep things working properly. Please post in here if forums are naughty.

Not sure if this is related to the upgrade, but when I login to the forum Safari doesn't ask me if I want it to be remembered in my Keychain...

Perhaps vBulletin is set for 'autocomplete off'?

How are we going to tell the difference between the upgrade funkiness and the typical funkiness/instability. New and improved error messages?

Your posts showing up with the wrong time probably is a result of your not having set the right time zone in your profile. Check it out in User Options.

I haven't had time to keep tabs on the new skin, so I don't really know what's going on with it and I don't have an ETA. (Someone else might be able to give one.)

The question about upgrade vs normal funkiness is actually a good one. I assume upgrade funkiness would be more minor things, and it would certainly be new. I haven't had the time to keep tabs on the forums, so I don't know why there's any funkiness at all. (I've been on the forums pretty minimally recently, but I haven't noticed any strange behavior.) Last I knew, we upgraded to vBulletin 3.5, things were working extremely badly for a while, and then I changed some stuff and things started working fine. I think the new screwups started happening after they went live with the new MacNN design, but I don't know why these would be related or what's causing these new screwups. Unfortunately, I don't have the time right now to fix it again, so someone else is going to have to chase it down.

Hope this helps.
