I noticed that when in Firefox some of the words on the news page were highlighted and had sponsored ads attached to them. Words like "iTunes" and "Apple" etc. I adblocked IntelliTXT and they went away. They didn't show up in Internet Explorer though (PC). I hate ads like that. Please don't use these type of text ads.
Please read (and contribute to) the sticky thread on IntelliTXT annoyances; this thread will probably be locked like the rest of the IntelliTXT annoyance threads. Based on the statements from the site owner, it appears they are the future of MacNN.
Wow, i thought they were gone. Thanks to whoever added that script that autoblocked these derned ads!!! I thought that was a joke. Shouldn't I have had to ok a script to be installed for that to work though, or am i an internet newb?

They're temporarily gone from the forums, but still present on the "news" pages.
