Option for "Printer-Friendly" Forum pages?

Call me neanderthal, but sometimes I'd like to *print* a forum discussion or list of hints on some technical issue. But just printing gives me masses of wasteful white space.
Copying & pasting into TextEdit, etc. is tedious with all the weird spacing and formating.
Is there no vBulletin feature that could be activated to produce a printer friendly (and tree-conserving) version of a thread (or portion of thread)?
A search of the forums makes me wonder if no one else has ever asked.
(?or did I just miss a button on this very page?)

As much as I appreciate the aesthetics of relatively subtle menus, I have to admit I may not be "eccentric" enough to pick up on their cues (or even their existence).
Oh well, at least now when someone does a search on "printer friendly" they'll find this.

I was going to suggest printing to pdf and just having a folder of them so that spotlight could index it for you, but this works too.
