I can't stop staring at it. It's mesmerizing.
It looks to me like Microsoft's answer to a bouncing Dock icon. Yup, with a Vista theme it would fit right in.

The Windows box thing has nothing to do with it. Yes, it's ugly, but that's not why I hate it. I hate it because it is dizziness-inducing.

next time you see an "annoying ad" copy the click through link (using control+click when over the banner--not the link at which it ends up). will ban it from the system.
