Several times now I've written up on-topic comments in the little comment box below each article, and they've simply vanished! Yes, they've been under the limit. Yes, they used clean, polite language and added more to the discussion than some posts I've seen. And no, there was absolutely no feedback whatsoever saying that something had gone wrong. At least once I remembered other experiences and copied the text before hitting Submit (it worked the second time) and I don't always remember to take that percaution. So what gives??

Have you been including subjects? I personally have found that it won't let me comment unless I specify a subject.

In almost 15k posts, I have NEVER even once needed a subject to comment.
A new thread is a different story, but that's not what he was talking about.

I think they mean for the comments section of the news articles on the front page of www.MacNN.com. Not the forums.

Yep, I included subject lines. I wonder if it's a Firefox for Windows thing (the last few times I tried were at work).
