So this would have been a prime suggestion about a week ago before the reformat.

But. It seems to me that the MBP and the MB are not very different machines. In fact they are much more similar than a MBP is to a PB.

My Point is wouldn't it make more sense to have a MacBook and MacBook Pro forum, instead of MacBook Pro and PowerBook. Then put G4 and G3 iBooks and PowerBooks together.

The MacBook and the MacBook pro are very similar, aside from different form factors and displays they are very similar machines. Whereas a PowerBook doesn't even have an Intel CPU.

Im not sure if I'm onto anything. But yeah.

I believe they've suggested or tried this before but there was an outcry from a large number of members. I agree with you, and I know at least a few mods do too, but I think the board should vote on it first, though that's not what happens here traditionally.
