I'm just wondering why I can't do NN searches on my Powerbook, but I can on my iMac. Is it the Safari version? OSX version?

Is this where I ask?

Could be the version of Safari. Older versions of Safari have issues with HTML and Javascript sometimes.

What's the latest version and is it compatible with OSX 3.9?

Thank you.

BTW, I see the other thread on this... but I am wondering if it is a software thing not so much as flaky performance.

Thank you

The latest version is included with OS X Tiger. That's the only way you can get it, sadly. I'm not around a Mac with 10.3.9 right now to make sure 100% that it is a Safari issue though. Try downloading Camino or Firefox to use on your PowerBook. It should work just fine.
