Ok, it seems like I missed the memo.
What's the rule on custom stars ?
15k ?
Large donation to the hampstor food bank ?
Good behavior ?

I would hope (and imagine) that if anything it would just be for good behavior around the forums. Perhaps a donation was involved, but if you are talking about the baseball stars, I'd be willing to bet it is just because that particular user has such a displayed love for the game.
I certainly wouldn't expect the mods and admins to give them out on a regular basis - it takes more than a few clicks and a snap of the fingers to make new user ranks.

Now there should be little reason for you not get the star design that you wish. I think cube-dude has cubes in addition to stars.

Actually no, I peed, took a shower, got dressed etc.. But I am still hazy in the mornings. Esp if I take a xanax or whatever the night before, which I did.

Don't know. Have you even requested different stars?
I was told I would get them once the new theme came out, and it never came to pass. So The NN Gods passed me up.
You'll have to talk to an NN God to explain that one.

Sorry I'll reword it. Trying to give Ca$h locks instead of stars will be difficult because he's creating new IDs every day. Its a moving target. Perhaps if he learned to follow the rules and stop blaming others for his failings he might remain a member long enough to accumulate enough posts for such a reward. As it is, he seems destined to crash and burn - if you want to use history as an indicator.

Too bad they don't allow custom images for the stars regardless of the post count. That would be cool and everybody would be happy (well they'll find some other topic to complain about)

Such a pipe dream....
There seems to be a star change every 5k or so. But after 10k there are no star changes. There are plenty of people here had they not gotten new accounts would have been well over 15k.
Hell if you add THIS account, Zimphire, and Sine you get well over 48k post.
All those posts and pages loads I have made, plus caused others to make would be a mighty contribution to this forum in general.
And for that reason, I deserve white stars  and my old King of Nothingness title back. (You could even add the posts together to legitimize it and put my join date at Aug 10, 2001 ) (stars were supposed to go with it, but I was told to wait till the upgrade)
Or I will hold my breath till Goricky's balls turn blue. !1
