In Short: All I want to do is not be subjected to the stupid stupid feature where it jumps the page to the "newest" post when I click on the thread.

Ok, I get that some people like this feature, and it only happens in threads I'm "subscribed" to, but I hate it and I never want to see it. Problem is, I'm automatically "subscribed" to threads I post in. So how do I turn off all the "subscription" system, or failing that how do I "unsubscribe" to all my threads?

TIA
