They tried that. Then what happened is that SOME PEOPLE reported my posts for crap that nobody gets reported about, and they'd give me 2 week temp bans for bullshit reasons, like calling Railroader Kilbey, or other such made up crap.

I say, let him stay. That way, only every second post will be about iMac bashing and I may be able to read someone's positive experience on an iMac again without serious interruption.

No, let's confine RR and Rob to their special "Madness Lounge". No one else has access. And they can not post outside.

Why do you guys focus on me? I ignore Rob more than most people do around here. If I reply to him it is either a complete mistake or simply to ask him to leave me alone.

It'd be hard to place you on ignore when people would have to constantly update their ignore list to keep up with your different screen names.

I am just wondering here, but what exactly is the reason he is always getting banned?
I notice in many threads in the lounge you see a post banned and then another one down the thread banned also...
Just wondering.

I'm not even interested in getting an iMac because I actually don't like ANY of them. But I don't need to push it down people's throats with the same boring and repetitive, highly religious, fanatical banter. That's what unnerves me. If at least these preaching posts were distinguishable in a minimal form ... but like this, sorry. But then again, I really dislike fanaticism and religion for the most part, so that might be cause of my dislike for these posts.

Fine to come back as long as its with a decent name, something with $ or 68 in it so that it's recognisable. Alcantara?? What's fake cow skin got to do with anything?

Duh. That's why I said what I said. Allow me to stay. I'd have ONE username. Do you even read posts before responding to them?

I think you should call him names. That would teach him.

Around Xmas, I was 'unbanned'. The mods quit banning me, and all was well. Then certain people started reporting my posts because they have an axe to grind with me. The mods would give me a 2 week temporary ban, for stupid reasons like calling another member by a previous username, or ALMOST typing a previous member's username (even though I did not), and other such nonsense. I eventually just said screw this, and didn't pay attention to their silly bans, so now they ban me whenever they feel like it, which is randomly.

Dude, have you seen my setup? I don't even own a TV anymore. I use my iMac for everything... movies, games, 3d modeling, video editing, everything! And it wasn't that I was trying to 'convert' anybody, it's that he cannot simply admit that some things about the new iMac are crap compared to the old one. I can admit some things are better, and some things are worse.

Err, what does owning a TV have to do with anything?
I don't care what you use. And it amazes me that you seem to care what others use, even feel the need to call someone out for not finding any faults with their setup of choice. It's plain absurd. Yes, I did see your setup and it looks very nice. I also saw ghporter's setup and think it's very nice. Big deal? For you, obviously. For me, it isn't.

Sorry I wasn't more clear. I don't even own a tv= I use my iMac AS my TV. As in, I use it A LOT. More than most people.

It's great that you do. I still do not see how it has any relevance within the context of urinating on other people's setup of choice just because they don't see fault in their machines. But maybe all this "ado about nothing" is guy's stuff and I just don't get what the fuss is all about. Some weird sense of powerplay or some sort that truly puzzles me.

Rarely. I usually read the first couple of words and then post a response based on what I think the rest of the post might say.
