I don't know what forum(s) each mod is assigned to, so there you go. Who is it?

Please PM me or hit me on AIM via shifuimam - need to talk to you.

Sorry for the post, but I can't get on #macnn at work due to port blocking.
For all the trash I talk, I sure own a lot of Macs...

I'm 99% sure it's Lat. He posted a thank you post in your iBook Mod thread.

I also repeat to the mods/admins that finding the list of forum leaders is not easy/near impossible and it needs to be easier to find.

Lateralus is the only Mod currently on Modification. Within a forum, you can see who the Mods are by looking below the thread list, in the "What's going on" table. It shows the Currently Active Users at the top, and the assigned Moderators at the bottom.

For reference, the Staff List is here:

Thanks reader.
I still think the staff list is more useful because all of the information is together, I just can't see a link for it on any of the forum pages.

interesting list. Some of those people I almost never see. Hoffman has 14 posts since 2002, whoever she is.

Jonaziz looks like he's a normal user that was accidentally made a super moderator.
Can you shed any light on that reader?

I think Ilene Hoffman is on the front-page news staff. I've never run into her.

Jonaziz is someone brought on to do some backend code work. Like effgee, anyone working on code that could affect the forum UI would need some Mod privs in order to test things. Like making sure the moderator thread controls don't break.

note: Jonaziz is not assigned to fix things after the upgrade. When effgee wasn't available, thewebdrives was (temp?) hired to do some fixes. I haven't heard anything from him either in awhile.

You'll notice neither has any assigned forums, and they should not do any real moderating.

Abuse Reporter is a bot account.

When anyone hits a Report Post link, the Abuse Reporter reposts the report for the staff to see. This is how we respond to most of the spam people report.

That said, it must have been hacked in, because it's post count doesn't increment. Abuse Reporter has 2,000 - 3,000 posts. I gave it my first Infraction by mistake, instead of giving it to the reported party. Even made it a Warning by mistake too.

Interesting. The live view shows May when viewed in Pacific time, but shows June when viewed in the forum default Eastern time.

The correct join date is May 31, 2000. The time must have been close to midnight Pacific. So you can see it listed either way, depending on what time zone you set in your UserCP.
