Pretty simple, have the comments of news articles in their own forum, for easier access, and better readability. It would bring more traffic this way as well.

the forums and the front pages are ran by two completely different teams i think. it'd be a little tough to do this actually.

They've started to make such a move more than once, but it's never gone through. If they ever did, at least we could use the normal forum search tools, and mod the replies. From what I've seen, it can get pretty wild over in the news comments.

We don't have anything to do with the front page. We only handle the forums.

It seems pretty easy to me... Whenever a new article is posted, it creates a new thread in the News Forum, at the bottom of the article is a link to "Comment on this Article" which just links to the thread... o.O
