Really, what's the point?

I posted a topic in the lounge:

It was moved to the Developer forum. NOBODY is in there. No new posts in 45 days. Why do we even have this forum and if nobody uses it, why was my post moved there? Other web dev topics survive the lounge. Can it get moved back please?

EDIT: Ok, here's what's worse...

It was put in the WRONG FORUM.

It was placed in "Other Topic->Developer". If you click on the "Other Topics" header, "Developer" doesn't even show up. Whoever moved this was supposed to put in the "Software Development" forum.

Fix, please.

That probably explains why there are so few threads in that forum. The actual Developer forum is alive and has had a couple of posts today.

It was accidentally put into the wrong forum by one of us. I've moved it to Developer Center -- which is an active forum.

Please don't put threads into the Lounge, just because you want to avoid `low-traffic forums'.

That's not why I did it. Other people have posted web-app-based threads there before and are STILL there.

So what?
It's a topic that belongs in the Developer Forum (well, the active one anyway ) and just because we miss a thread or two, doesn't change that.

Plus, if there aren't interesting threads in a forum, it'll stay dead.
