As promised last time, we have made some more promotions. Here are your new Feedback targets:

chipchen (Marketplace, iMac, Pro Macs)
chippervw (Marketplace)
IceEnclosure (Consumer Hardware)
Thorzdad (Art & Graphic Design)

Priority was given to forums that needed coverage the most. In particular, Marketplace had become essentially uncovered by any local Mods since the last round. We'd missed that when advertising for nominees the first time.

Are we done with the promotions for awhile, should those candidates not chosen jump off the bridge now? We're not certain, so check back later this year. We still have names in the hat, and we're not afraid to use them if we need to.

What do you mean by "Feedback Targets" ?

Does that mean they are "IT" for now, and we should report back with objections or agreement ?

Thx for clarifying.

Any objections will receive the exact same consideration they always receive.

Heh, I was wondering what happened this morning when I saw chippervw posts with blue stars. Congrats to the new victims of the all mighty 'NN!

Common sense would say yes, for their respective forums.

Common sense tried, but had some issues with this sentence:

But after reading it for about 5 times, it dawned upon me.

An over lord makes me think of a lord that is past his prime. I'd rather be considered an Overlord. A really cool one.

I prefer to think of this particular position as more of a "playground monitor".

That implies that we have reached the maturity level of children. Now that's a reach and maybe an overly optimistic outlook

Nice condescending insult. Is this the kind of quality personality actions mods need to have?

Geez, no need to be so freakin' sensitive.

After all, his assessment of the job is pretty accurate given the maturity level of many who post here.

I'm good for 5-6 pages. 8 if Laminar and Dakar can offer some worthwhile bait.

You're in college and can't do basic math? Or proper capitalization?

EDIT: Or reading comprehension?
