Still behind me, but I'm afraid at his posting rate, that wouldn't be for ever.

I'd be close to that.

My PC had been reduced by 1,000 and 500, before banninations where en vogue

Even hitting 10k seems daunting.

Of course, I was gone for about a year.

It has been a week. Here are revised totals - the currently insane who are above 11K.

LstWk -> Today (time to reach 15K) patient name {vote or status}

16,525 -> 16,645 (blah) besson3c {safely crazy}
14,496 -> 14,496 (forever) Millennium {inactive}
14,013 -> 14,232 (3.5 weeks) turtle777 {ok with 15K}
13,620 -> 13,620 (forever) SimeyTheLimey {inactive}
12,908 -> 12,909 (40 years) voodoo {sedated}
12,220 -> 12,264 (14 months) olePigeon {dogging it}
12,141 -> 12,184 (15 months) starman {ok with 15K}
11,534 -> 11,534 (forever) mitchell_pgh {inactive}
11,352 -> 11,354 (34 years) Cipher13 {safely crazy}
11,136 -> 11,174 (2 years) Eug {ok with 15K}

The patients who are still awake are all OK with moving the Insane Ward back to Room 15K. If there are no screamers, we will send in the orderlies to move the beds.

LOL, nice analysis.

"patient name"

I'm fine with moving it back to 15k.

I have my colored turtles now anyways. They'll give me comfort.
At least for the next 3.5 weeks.

Yeah, I remember when I got to 15k... Fun times, except I didn't get fancy stars for it. Ah well...

For a while, I think I was the only Clinically Insane poster on MacNN. It was lonely at the top. Now I'm in the strangely less-exclusive Moderator group.

You people post too much for your own sanity.

Obviously, the healthy place to be is somewhere around … um, just a sec … 3.68 posts per day, or anywhere near 5,640 posts.

Been there, done that, got no shirt though.

Personally, I found the 6,327 / 3.87 ppd more gratifying.
4,376 / 4.12 was sweet, too.

No, no. You have it wrong, too.

The best place to be is 1.33 posts per day, or near 3,378 posts.

Lately though, the posts per day has been increasing... it would be interesting to know how many posts I've made in the last year.

Search clips at 500 results, it's somewhere above that.

You made 275 in the last six months, which averages to 550 per year or 1.51 ppd.
