Why not replace your Javascript based image size restrainer that basically just ensures that the page renders a certain way with an actual hook to allow image uploads to be resized via Imagemagick? Is there not a vBulletin plugin to do this?

It would seem to me that if you guys pay for bandwidth and ever have to worry about staying within a quota, this would help. Your Imagemagick hook (excluding whatever vBulletin registration would be necessary) would literally be one line of code calling "convert", if you had to write it yourself.

What images are uploaded directly to MacNN's servers?

Doh, I'm a complete moron.

Never mind, this thread can be locked.

It's too bad that you just went on a gut feeling instead of forming a rational, logical argument.

There's a difference between a rational argument being wrong or flawed, and an argument that never originated from rational thought.

If MacNN were to be hosting the images, what I wrote was rational. My problem was that I overlooked something on account of having a major brain fart!

My brain normally doesn't fart very often, although my butt does.

Please stay on topic, and doesn't this thread belong in the Lounge?

Whether or not this thread belongs in the lounge is not the topic of this thread. Please stay on topic.

Okay, this thread is now about dusters...

What is your favorite model? I don't much care for the ones that are super fluffy and don't have much reach to them, and I find the beige ones super boring. Here is a model I have found good success with though:

Actually, that was a fine idea. It's just that it would only work if we actually hosted the images. Thanks for the thought!

ghporter - You remind me of the episode of House where the patient has a disease that causes him to be excessively nice all of the time. Not that it's a bad thing, but sometimes I wonder what disease you might have.

It was some kind of Costa Rican parasite that showed a false positive for syphilis.

Thread is offtopic, and not feedback on a product that we sell.
