Don't have any issues with the concept, but I have two questions pertaining to making good use of old threads.

1) Is there any way to divine the post number so a post can be linked to directly? I used to just hit "quote".

2) Is there any way to quote text from an old thread in a new thread without cutting and pasting, thus retaining the formatting?


I'm guessing there is a way to do the first, and I'm out of luck on the second, but no harm in asking.

Duh. The answer to #1 is the "url" button.

Regarding 2, I always use Quote and then copy and paste.

That's what I used to do, but now it won't let you do that on a thread which is past the lockdown date.
