Has anyone ever thought of running a cross-platform mac forum? Its very hard to use only a mac these days without having to deal with other platforms.

I've used macs w/ NT, win2k server, netware, and various flavors of unix. New issues have come up with OS X.

Mac users often seem to be knowledgable of other platforms and can make things work as far as exchanging files, etc. PC-centric people say "oh we don't support macs"

I'd be willing to mod it if there is any demand.

Any thoughts on this forum subject?

i would have welcomed a forum dedicated to this. i never got my teeth around this cross-platform stuff and for the first year, regardless of much help and advice from forum members, i just gave up.

fortunately for me i scored a copy of office2001 which basically solved everything. i don't even use it (my daughter does though). it's just there encase i need to speak in a language other than Mac.
