the button at the bottom should flash bright orange and go off like an atom bomb every time a word is misspelt.
that might actually alert people that correct spelling is not just a courtesy, but an effective way of communicating meaning. far too many times have i struggled to understand what a poster has meant (and it's not because of my ignorance).
a pity we can't have a grammar / context alert button as well: one that distinguishes between the appropriate use of 'their', 'they're' and 'there'.
there: i've had my gripe. i don't complain much but this is one subject that annoys the @#$k out of me. this, and people refusing to use UPPER CASE CHARACTERS.
