Ever since you upgraded the forum's software, page loading has been painfully slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. What gives? These fora are barely usable anymore.....are you planning on fixing this? These pages are slow both at work (T1) and home (DSL 1.5M/128k).
as has been discussed many times in the last week, the new software re-generates every page on-demand each time there is a view request. so it is much slower. monish is currently upgrading the hardware the forums run on to hopefully improve speed.
Seems like one workaround would be to downgrade the software. IMHO it's kind of stupid to upgrade to a product that will drive users away. Perhaps there are good reasons for the "upgrade," but it hasn't improved things around here.
